$600 USD converted to Shillings for tips approx 1,500,000 shillings. We spent 170,000 on lunch and 200,000 on dinner including tip in Zanzibar. Everywhere else was all inclusive. (We did $300 in Arusha and $300 more in Zanzibar because it wasn’t lunch and dinner included - $300 was 741,000)
5,000 is approx $2USD.
We tip 10,000 at buffet breakfast, 10,000 for drinks at the bar for the 3 of us, 20,000 for dinner, 5000 for an escort to your room, 5,000 or 10,000 for a porter depending on how long they walked, 20,000 for laundry, 5,000 for drinks delivered at the all inclusive in Zanzibar by the pool.
