Myah slept with me and I heard one of the girls come in and whisper at her "Myah!" I looked at my watch, "It's 5:45am let her sleep!" but it was too late and they were up and then I got up as well. We had breakfast and I did the girls reading with them and then Maria and I started our workout around 7:15am as she had to get onto an 8am call, so we did 42 minutes and she was on her call right at 8am.
The flower just blew on there, it wasn’t an attempt at artistry.
The view doing crunches.
While we worked out the girls wrote up their journals in English for the day before, tomorrow they'll do it in french and alternate.
I've been VERY diligent on sunblock today after the girls looked so pink yesterday. I said "Its time for sunscreen" Again?!? Why? "Because I am not sending home a french fried Myah" and Mom laughed and said "Yeah, Julia will be asking why there are no photos of Myah on the blog". haha. They aren't getting burnt on my watch! Jim took this picture of the thermometer at 7:15am this morning. 108 in the sun.

Maria paid the girls $5 to blow up her floaties.
We were down at the beach for about 90 minutes this morning, which is typical but on the long side for us. From here we walk back up to the house - this is the first year we walk every day to the beach because the girls are big enough to carry their boogie boards and towels themselves so that all I have to carry in the beach bag is my towel, water and a plethora of sunscreen!
We went to The Beach House for lunch today and shared onion rings and tuna tar tar as an appetizer and then Maria and I shared what was called a grown up grilled cheese but came on a panini so was really more of a BLT with avocado and cheese, it was really good.
It was SOOOOO hot, it was a covered outdoor patio but little breeze and the girls all overheated, they brought us an ice bucket even and the girls were putting ice in their hats.
When we got back to the house we went straight into the pool to cool off but even then the girls looked like they had no energy so I told them they could go into their room, turn on the AC and watch Netflix for an hour to get out of the sun. I went in an hour later to check on them and they didn't have the AC on, just the fan, I asked why they didn't have it on and they couldn't figure it out so I turned it on for them and Sophie said "I guess we need another hour".
Maria dropped her phone yesterday and Jim said "and that's why your phone is broken"..she dropped it today in the kitchen and I said "and that's why your phone is broken"..this could be a drinking game I think with the number of times she drops it. We'll keep count.

Mom has a big cup too, but not as big as mine!
Maria made stuffed peppers and greek salad last night for dinner, we always have them at least once, and usually twice, while we're here. I bought hot sauce and it was HOT, so we added a little sour cream to the pepper.
After dinner Myah asked if she could sleep with me again and then went to FaceTime Julia. She was really missing her tonight but after their FaceTime she went right to sleep. While she was FaceTiming I was setting up Sophie with a 'cot' out of a patio lounger and cushions from the couch and a blanket - we tried 3 different cushions before I found the right combination for her (the couch cushions which are nice and firm and fit perfectly). I came out to where Mom, Dad, Jim and Maria were sitting outside and said "All done, I may or may not have told her to 'Chill the fu@k out'". Parent of the year.
