Playa Grande - Day 8

Every day we wake up and several times a day say “What day is today?”  Today is Thursday, so we have today, Friday and Saturday left - so we need 2 more bottles of tequila to get is through Saturday, so 12 bottles for 9 full days. Drinking days so we can count the day we arrived because it was about 2pm when we got here.

The girls were fighting over the chair. Sophie said she was in the chair first - which we found hard to believe given their positions. 

I was all ready for a workout this morning but Maria wasn’t feeling well so we didn’t go today. Tomorrow for sure. 

We decided to go to Playa Grande today, hit up the surf shops and have some lunch. 
























We went to Rip Jacks for lunch again. Great smoothie and drink bar, the tuna tower is NOT as good as The Beach House but the Playa Grande salad with the Asian ginger dressing is amazing so I just put my tuna tower into the salad and it was delicious. 

We went back to the first surf shop to get the rash guards. 

Maria wasn’t feeling well so Jim took her massage at 4:00pm and she was in the condo for the afternoon so no pictures of the waves, but they were big and fun :)

Paige was holding her goggles in her hand and the surf pulled them out and away. Sophie was nice enough to go look for them (with some financial incentive because I would have to buy a new pair of goggles so if she found them it would save me some money) but then a wave pulled hers right off her head!  So much for that. 

A little while later Jay and Anthony we’re having a discussion about how they should have floaties on their sunglasses and Anthony said “yeah, we should get those” and Jay said “where are your glasses?!?”  Gone. 

Gone for half an hour when Avery came out of the water with her hand in the air!  I recognize that position!  Oh my god, did you find them?  Yes!  They got tossed to the surface in the surf and she found them. I told her Anthony had said same as me he would pay if someone found them :)

We arranged for a car to pick us up at 6:15pm to take us to La Forketta for dinner. 

Maria keeps forgetting to take photos before she eats so she has to get close up!

We take a menu and decide that we’ll order take out tomorrow from here and have it delivered and add it to what we have in leftovers. Delivery could change our lives!
