Paige cane down this morning and took a look at the game sheet from last night and said “Jim won?!?” Jim won 5 Crowns last night.
Maria and I saw the inside of the gym today!! It’s nice, air conditioned, and small.
Maria came back and made French toast for her and Jim. Sarah fed my kids earlier, banana French toast as well but like the French toast bake I make for Christmas morning.
Jim and Maria went for a walk down the beach.
The resort at the end of the road is now called Marguaritaville.
After a leftover lunch, Cuban sandwiches and salad, I made our first pitcher of pina coladas. It’s a recipe by feel at this point. Fill the blender half with ice, add the pineapple juice until it just gets to the top of the ice, add about half a can of coconut milk and maybe a couple of tablespoons of coconut cream and add the rum until it turns beige. With Ron Zacapa though you can add a lot more rum because it’s so good. I poured and there were maybe 3 oz left in the bottom of the bottle so I just tipped it in.
In the pool Jay asked me to do his sunscreen and *one* time like 15 years ago I didn’t to a very good job with sunscreening his back and I ALWAYS hear about it and he ended up with a swath of burn up one side, so this time I made a shocker hand with my right and sunscreened with my left. Lol.
We got out of the pool at 3pm because the brewery closes at 4pm! I drove our brood and Sarah drove over in their car. Jim decided at the last minute he would come and Maria decided at the last minute that she wouldn’t come. We knew we would be coming back between the brewery and dinner anyway so she stayed home, she isn’t feeling 100%. We left her on the couch covered up with a towel. Lol.
The brewery was good but the beer wasn’t cold enough. I had a Belgian and Jay had the same while Jim had the Pale Ale. The girls had ice cream that they make on site with milk they trade with a local dairy farmer for biproduct of the brewing process, I can’t remember what. The couple that owns it is from Texas and had only home brewed before seeing a need here and opening up!
We got talking about tattoos because the girl there had some really nice portraits Sarah had admired. Then we got discussing tattoo horrors, etc and Anthony said he had seen someone on TV or knew someone who had “Boner Garage” tattooed on her abdomen with an arrow pointing down. Jay laughed and said he was going to do that and moved his hands across his stomach (like he was showing a belt). I said “You’d have to put it on the back”...Anthony snarfed his beer a bit.
When we went to leave for dinner Sophie was crying that all of her shoes were in the Corey’s car (we can’t figure out how to get up our 3rd row so my girls have been switching between vehicles). I said to her “That’s your problem, not their problem - you better run to see if they’re still here”. Though I know they will be because they usually follow us for directions.

We had a mostly good dinner at NUMU but I wasn’t as good as before the new ownership. The rolls (sushi) were amazing but the entrees where a little lacking. I said I was going to get pot stickers as an app and Jay said, if we get 2 will you share? “Well, I was going to get one so, sure, if we get two I’ll share”. Lol.
The sangria was bad. As a note for next year.
After dinner we went to a Moonlight Monday Market just under Angelina’s, which we didn’t go to because it was supposed to be closed on Mondays but looked open!
We didn’t buy anything but it’s a nice little market.
