I woke Sophie up at 8:30am and we went downstairs - me to do my workout and her to be on the treadmill.
After workout I had to have a shower and get ready for a Re/Max office call at 10am, a zoom call organized by the office Manager, Janet. I did the zoom - trying to figure out the best place and set up for the camera - I had it all figured out, sitting on the clock was my iPad in the case and then the phone set against the case with another empty case tilted behind it with some makeup pads behind the top of that to tilt it forward..then I got on the call and my camera was sideways (so I looked sideways to everyone - I figured it would shift!). So then I had to just hold my stupid phone for the 40 minute meeting.
UPS arrived to drop off the fun sporty game that I bought after trying Carrie-Lyn’s at Moms. Anna and Jack had brought it last week. The UPS guy didn’t want to get out of the truck because the dogs were out so I went out and got it from the driver.

This is a fun game that Carrie had brought to Mom’s last week for the kids to play, it has a little rubbery furry ball (hard to describe and I didn’t take a photo) and you basically play ‘keep up’ with it.
Carrie sent a text saying that they’ll be after noon for sure to Mom and Dad’s because she has grumpy students today - we have to go out there today because the house is being sprayed for stink bugs, which are HORRIBLE. But it also helps to get rid of cluster flies and other insects too so we’re good. We have to leave the house for 2 hours so as soon as the person gets here we’ll leave - they’ll spray the inside and then the outside of the house. Jay went to Trevor’s to sit in the driveway, he has a conference call at 2pm every day for work to catch up on what needs to be reviewed.
So anyway I sent her a text back telling her to tell her students to smarten up because we’re bringing our sport disk game to play while we are there and sent her a photo. Apparently her students didn’t appreciate that because they didn’t get there in record time.
Jay met us out there and we played ‘keep up’ with the kids until we heard Carrie’s truck door slam and the dogs all go mental to see each other - Eddie barks when Willow attacks Sage and Willow attacks Sage anytime another dog wants to play with her. Willow never goes after the other dog, always Sage. They don’t go as mental now when they see one another because we walk daily for 30 minutes so they see each other all the time, which is nice because usually Eddie is a bit of a meathead when it comes to seeing our dogs and they’re no better - they just run and play and run and play. Eddie has a heart condition so Matthew and Carrie got him from the breeder for free and they don’t expect him to have a full life expectancy and Matthew’s perspective is that if he dies doing something he loves, like playing with our dogs, then he will have had a good life - I just don’t want him to actually die playing with our dogs.
Mom, Carrie and I did our two rounds around the house, when we were done Carrie had to run around and do some errands in town so Jack and Anna came over to our house and played outside with the girls. I asked Carrie if she was ok if they came as long as they all played outside.
When we got back we took the kiddie pool we picked up at Mom and Dad’s house and cleaned it out and filled it up with some water for the dogs. It wasn’t too long before Carrie got back to pick them up.
This evening we played A LOT with the new paddles and ball, in the backyard, on the trampoline, in the backyard again.
I’ve been a part of lending money through Kiva for probably 10 years and have lent $339 over and over as it is repaid a total of 61 times in 34 countries for a total lent of $1700.
I had a conference call for the OWHA at 6pm. Who has a conference call at 6pm! Its dinner time for crying out loud. They asked for us to be on and log on 10 mins before and so for the last 10 mins I’ve been listening to “(name) has joined the conference” a hundred and ninety nine times and none of the people have put themselves on MUTE!! So some guy is missing his running shoes and some lady has told her kids to be quiet, something has to go “in the garbage I said!”. Oh my God. Someone wants macadamia cookies - I mean its ridiculous.
The girls did another massage for us tonight. So good.
Numbers for today:
