Its Sunday May 24th - sometimes we need a reminder what day it is, not just of the week but of the month.
I’m not sure why but this arrived today in the mail - usually we don’t have mail delivery on Sunday so it might have been delivered Friday and we just didn’t pick it up but it was up at the house on the porch so I think it was actually delivered today!
I’m so in love with my new slim walled by Carved. Its made of wood and resin and is gorgeous! Its SO light and small. Its perfect. It fits my 2 credit cards, my debit card and my drivers license and there is probably room for another 2 cards if I wanted it to be full. I don’t carry a purse so its perfect.

I got one for Jay too. Actually it started out with me getting one for Jay because he lost the wallet that he bought in Dubai when we were there I don’t even know how long ago, but anyway he lost it probably at least 6 months ago and has just been carrying around his cards ever since. For $85 I figured this was a really nice option for him that’s still unique until he decides if he REALLY wants to spend the money again on a Berlutti wallet (I don’t think they even make his style anymore, I looked to see if I could find a fake one online a couple times and couldn’t).

Jay and I went to the Farmers Market this morning and bought a few things. We got a couple of tomato plans from Willo Wind Farm and a set of hot sauces from Hurt Berry Farms in Port Perry and we got a spicy maple syrup.

The girls are part of a COVID fairy exchange as well and so I was looking to see if I could find some hand sanitizers that are good for kids and came across the one from Sun Bum so I ordered some chapstick and hand sanitizer from Main Street Pools in town to add to their gifts for their recipients (Sienna and Emma). We’ll also go into the Bridge Social on Friday and see what we can add and they want to do a little planter for them as well with the succulents. Maybe from Ty or we’ll make our own.

Ugh, the new glasses that I bought online to replace our old ones that Diane had given me have an issue. They’re pretty, but they’re too thin for everyday glasses. One originally came chipped and I emailed the company and since then another 2 have chipped at the top. So I took some photos and sent them another email. My original email was April 27th.

I wouldn’t let the girls use the last of the dish soap today on the trampoline and told them to use body wash or bubble bath or something from their bathroom that would bubble...did it ever!

They probably spent 2 hours out in the sun this afternoon on the trampoline. I went into town to get some groceries for dinner today and bought them a 5L jug of dish soap for $11. Hours of fun and so totally worth it.
Anyone who knows us knows that Jay is the cleaner in our family - and because of COVID things have been a little our of control with clutter, mostly in the kitchen, so when he was on the bike this afternoon I tidied the kitchen and living room.

We went to the Faust’s for dinner tonight, we had a BBQ and I brought all the fixin’s for strawberry mules. Juls picked up an ice cream cake from Kawartha Dairy for dessert which was good, I’ve never thought of picking up an ice cream cake!
We played Super Tock, we played 4 games and ended up 2-2 and left at 10pm. I think that still puts the boys up by 5 games over the girls. Jay asked what we’re going to as far as numbers..I said its 2020 and his eyebrows hit his hairline - we’ve played over 50 games so far in the last 55 days..but as the weather gets nicer and things open up I’m sure we will taper off A LOT.
Today’s numbers, Uxbridge went up by another 1:
