At 8am I woke up Sophie and we headed down to the basement to do our workouts, I did a Curves workout and Sophie was on the treadmill.
I went up to have a shower and get ready for my team zoom call at 10am. It was the first zoom call we’ve had as a team since I joined, though I’ve spoken to everyone a few times.
One of the things that Nicole wanted to do was have us send her photos of our every day life, like “Day in the life” photos so to send them to her when we have the opportunity. It helps to have people seeing the pictures on social media relate on a personal level. So I sent these two photos and asked her to tag the coffee maker, Merchants of Green Coffee and The Bridge Social which is where I got the coffee from. I took the picture in front of my good coffee maker but in reality I used my Keurig with the reusable filter (I don’t actually have any pods, I’ve never bought them because I don’t like the waste so I have one I use and empty and refill every day).
Then I said “Oh gosh, I can send you a better photo than that!” And sent her the one below.
I did some work for a client this afternoon and then took the dogs and kids for a walk at Mom’s with Carrie, Eddie and her kids. Carrie wants to start doing 3 rounds around the property, she’s for sure lost weight working out and walking, good for her. I’ve lost just what I gained since leaving for Florida but feel better. Anyway while they did their 3rd lap around the property I drove the truck around the property to make two more ‘paths’ in the field for us because currently 2 people are in a path and the other has to walk in the bumpy field. The kids piled into the bed of the pick up truck to drive around which Jack and Anna thought was just the best thing ever, we did a couple of laps like that and then they all stood on the running boards with the windows open holding onto the ‘oh shit’ handles and rode around another couple of times like that. Then they all got off and ran beside the truck while I drove, Jack did almost half the property which is about .5km because the loop is 1km basically and takes us about 10 mins to walk around.
When I got home I had to do a chart for Cindy that outlines Months of Inventory for the Uxbridge Real Estate market, its a key indicator in the current state of the market - essentially Supply vs Demand. Take the number of active listings and divide it by the sales the last month and you get the number of months of inventory. If there are 1-4 MOI then it is a Sellers market (not much supply) if it is 5-6 it is Balanced and if it is 7-12 then it is a Buyers Market (lots of supply). For April, even though the real estate market was in a slumber it still is only 5.91 MOI so we are in a Balanced market still where supply and demand are even and prices shouldn’t fluctuate too much. I sent the document to Nicole to add all the branding and to Cindy to see if she wanted it tweaked at all.
Paige took some photos of her closet, which she has been working on for the last day and a half. These are her results - she Marie Kondo’ed her drawers without even knowing that it was a thing!
Now, if only the rest of her room was the same.
Our May meeting for 100 Women who Care was cancelled and they’re encouraging us to donate the $100 we would have donated to another local charity. I chose to donate to Cam’s Kids a local organization that focusses on youth mental health. I made my donation online.
Sophie also cleaned her room today and organized her closet.
She did her hair.
And we had garlic sausage for dinner!!

We played a game of Karma and then a game of keep up before getting ready for bed.
