Physical Distancing - Day 44 (Day 58)

I woke up about 7:40am this morning before my 8am alarm.  Its Paige’s day to come and walk on the treadmill while I do my workout so I woke her up just after 8 and we headed downstairs.  The girls don’t mind being woken up early (too much) because it means that they can watch my phone and watch a show.  Since they’ve been sans phones for the last few days they’re happy for the screen time even if it means waking up early.

I decided to do a 20 minute workout followed by 10 minutes of yoga this morning.

The 20 minute workout was surprisingly hard, especially since I’ve done it before, I should have been prepared!  There’s no actual cardio but my cardio was up.

Came across this and sent it to Julia and Steve.

I’m not sure why Paige took this picture...can you guess what fruit it is?  This was on our way up to Mom’s for our walk.  I have to get back for a 1pm for a training session I signed up for that is now via Zoom so we had to go right for 12pm.  Carrie will be a few minutes later as she had a Curves meeting as well so I’ll probably go around once with Mom before Carrie gets there.

Turns out Mom and I went around twice before Carrie got there so then I let the girls drive around the property once before rushing back to get set up.  I figured out how to use my iPad pencil on the fillable PDF this morning so that I can use my iPad to fill in the workbook that we got and then setup Zoom on my laptop so that I could set that up for the meeting as well.

Jay and I hung this painting last night behind where I sit for Zoom so that it doesn’t look so much like a hostage video but it ended up being right behind me so I need to move it about 18” to the right so that its over my shoulder.

This afternoon Jay decided it would be a perfect time to plan our gardens so we did that.

And then he got home from going to Canadian Tire and found out that the weather had changed and its going down to 3 degrees tonight so now our gardens look like this:

I tried to get the girls to take a photo sporting their Uxbridge Strong sweaters and got these:

Some of my favourite photos are the ones that are just goofy.

Sophie went out and took some nice photos outside.

Too bad for the hammock frame here. Lol.

Some funny memes for today:

This is a very true picture of how perspective is everything.

Kobe decided to go to Guelph for school next year!  Juls announced today on Instagram, very excited for him and what the future holds for him.

The girls had a shower today and Sophie wanted her hair in braids again for the curls tomorrow.

Today’s numbers:

Uxbridge went up to 42 today, 7 deaths in long term care facilities and 1 not a LTC.

Day 6 - Tour of a local Island

I set my alarm for 8am today because Jay and I have booked a tour to a local island by speed boat and it leaves around 10am.  I wake up ever...
