I slept in until 9am this morning, it was glorious! I woke up at 8am and let the dogs out but then went back to sleep, I didn’t think that I was going to but I laid in bed with my nitehood on for second nighttime and it worked!
We had a discussion with Steve and Juls the other night about the fire permit - Steve thought that they were good for the whole year and that you just had to call in every time you were going to have a fire and Jay and I thought that you had to go and get a new permit every time you wanted to have a fire. I didn’t go to the fire station to pick up the permit, Jay did, so when I found the permit in the truck this morning I took a photo and showed Steve that he was, indeed, correct. Jay said if he knew that he would have gotten the $30 permit! The $30 permit allows for a bigger fire but only in the daytime, he should have gotten both, though I’m not sure the $30 permit is also for all year, but if it is its totally worth it.

Jay and I went to the Uxbridge Farmers Market this morning, there wasn’t a lot of produce, its kinda early in the year, but we got some smoked meat from Cosmo’s and had meat, cheese, bread and oil for lunch today.
After lunch we went to Willowtree Farm, both Jay and I went but then only one person was allowed in the store (not a couple), which makes sense. Paige wanted a photo of the soaps because she wanted one that Lise gets when she’s here - I bought a couple of the ones with orange flavour because I thought that’s what it was but its the rose one. I texted her the photo but she didn’t reply to me until we were already home that it’s the one with the pink label.
These are the things that I picked up at Willowtree, minus the T Langhans hand sanitizer which I picked up for my COVID Fairy gift - a $40 gift for a stranger, the black garlic jam, bergamot orange, produce bags and hand sanitizer are for her along with a bottle of orange juice and a single serving of sparkling wine and crackers to go with the garlic jam which is to die for over cream cheese as an appetizer.
Mom came over because she wanted me to trim her hair. Its hard to stay 6’ away so instead I stayed behind her.
This is the first stage, just cut the bottom bit and the second photo is stage 2 where I went up a little higher to trim it up a little more. After that I cleaned up the neckline but I didn’t get a photo.
At 6 we went to pick up Dominos and Swiss Chalet and head over to the Faust’s. Originally we were going to get Chen’s China House but they’re temporarily closed due to COVID.
We ate dinner, played a new game called What Do You Meme which is totally offside, like Cards Against Humanity, but was really fun. Jay got a good laugh out of it because its totally his humour and he did end up winning but he would get very disappointed when his card wasn’t chosen and he thought it was perfect.
Afterwards we played SuperTock and LOST 5-0...which means we are now sitting behind in the overall series by 3. Ugh. It totally sucked. I think its now 21-24 in favour of the boys.
11pm we headed home.
Today’s numbers - Uxbridge went up by 2 more:
