And then a second not so nice surprise...snow!
It was gone by the afternoon and everything was green again.
This is my list of things to do this morning once Sophie wakes up so that she can help me to trace out two more patterns. Its been really awesome to see how many people came together to get the gowns sewn for Douglas Crossing.
8:30am, its time to do a workout with Carrie-Lyn.
Because Julia Stevens recruited some people to cut the patterns so that the sewers don’t have to cut them as well the process has been going a lot more smoothly. More driving for me to get stuff to everyone but so much easier on the sewers.
Uxbridge is now up to 8 cases, I hope no more are at Douglas Crossing!
In the news today, Ontario has prepared a plan for hospitals to deterimine who should and should not receive life-saving care if medical facilities become overstretched by the Coronavirus. In the most severe phase, if hospitals are at double their capacity for a sustained period, anyone with less than a 70% chance at survival would not qualify for medications and machines needed to keep them alive.
Cases in Europe are still doubling every 3 - 4 days.
I got these nice messages from Stacey at Douglas Crossing so shared it with the group of sewers and cutters. And then a nice message too from a staff member at DC, which I also shared.
Today’s numbers, the US is going to hit 500K soon.
