Physical Distancing - Day 16 (Day 30)

Got up and did the workout this morning, I was sore after yesterday so opted for the Tai Chi again, I really like this one for a stretch between the band/strength exercises.

I kept saying to Jay that we should be putting water outside for the dogs now that they’re spending more time outside with the nicer weather. But putting a bowl with water out is just a pain in the buttski so I went on Amazon and ordered a gravity water bottle for them.  We’ll try it inside and then either move it outside or get another one, it was $50 and has a 4 gallon reservoir.

The girls had homework today - or should I say home schooling work, they had to find something in the house for each letter of the alphabet and do a sentence about it in French (so it has to be a French word that starts with each letter) and take a photo of yourself doing it or using it and then upload it to google sheets  - here are some of the girls things:

Xylophone - some are easy as long as you think outside the box.

Saut - Jump

VVT - ATV, that’s a good one for V because that’s a hard one.

Fleurs

Roseville - haha.  This sign is on our front lawn for the little hamlet where we live.

Not sure what this one is, but she’s fake sleeping on her window seat.

Twins maybe?  Jumeaux

barbecue - that’s the pizza oven though...

Arbre - Tree

Don’t know what this one was for.

Paige wanted to make Macarons today but we don’t have almond flour so she looked up a recipe using all purpose flour and we made them.  She did do most of it, but I helped every now and then.

These are the two best ones, lol.  She did a really good job and they’re tasty.  She used a recipe from Tasty the website and then we looked up a recipe for mars bar ganache which is in the middle.

Playing Wii was another of their ‘homework’ starts with W and has no direct French translation.

Ah, I tricked Sophie into “J’ai fait mon lit”.  Sucka.

She’s wearing a Blades uniform..should put on her jersey maybe.

Yoga is yoga.

While the girls were doing these things and the Macarons I watched Onward on the Disney Channel, a 2 hour movie took me almost 4 hours to watch with all the interruptions. While I was doing that Jay got the room in the basement all painted and put back together.

I’ve ordered a ceiling fan that should be ready tomorrow for pick up in Newmarket at Lowe’s and I’ll pick up some gowns there are well to drop to Butternut today.

Paige lost her mind just before bed because she signed into Knowledge Hook their math game and all of the sudden she is down several levels in it - I’m not sure how to fix that or why its so important to her but it was a crisis of epic proportions.
