Physical Distancing - Day 23 (Day 37)

The sun is so BRIGHT coming in my window and my nighthood is in the wash.  So once I wake up its hard to get back to sleep and I usually wake up because I have to pee.  This morning was about 7:15, but I still didn’t work out until about 10am.

Even though it was yoga it managed to get my heart rate up to 80% target.

Today is National Take Out day, week 2, so I asked Faust’s if they want to take out and come over tonight.  Julia said she thought that was a made up thing, which it totally is, but I’m down for it.

Homeschooling went well today - the girls usually wake up between 10:30 and 11am and we get started right away.  Now we have created a schedule for them so they know what they need to do every day.  They set the schedule day by day based on what work they are assigned on Monday and they can adjust their day based on what they want to do as long as its all done on Friday.  So far its working well.

I let Kobe know that we have some chocolate protein powder that he can have.  Juls bought vanilla for Ava and Kobe was complaining.  I bought chocolate from Costco and the girls were complaining because they only like the Arbonne one, so Kobe got lucky.

I watched a webinar at 1pm on the impact of COVID on the real estate industry, some of the slides were really interesting.  The black line here is showings in 2019 vs showings in 2020 - you can see as soon as COVID hit the drastic decline in real estate activity.

And year over year what the sales have looked like for April 1 - 7 In 2019 in Toronto and all of the GTA vs the same week in 2020.

I hopped off that webinar a little early and hopped onto another, sending my notes to Cindy, Nicole, Kim and Dane.  Kim texted me and asked me how I got the notes sent out so fast because the webinar was still on so I showed her my setup.  I write the notes on my MAC while I listen to and watch the webinar on my iPad.

The second webinar was really interesting too - it was a Coach, so sometimes they’re a little slimy feeling and this guy was no different.  All energy and quips.  All these Real Estate Coaches seem really young and had successful careers as Realtors so I always wonder why they switched to be Coaches instead of staying in Sales.

I really liked the Menu of Virtual Services, I thought that was a really good idea.  Again I wrote out my notes and shared them with the team and sent the photos of the slides I liked.

After the webinars we went out to Moms to do a walk with the kids and dogs.  We meet Carrie and the kids and Eddie out there for a visit.  Dad was out today too, Jack and him were chopping wood.  Mom said that she put some broccoli slaw for me on her PC list as I wasn’t able to find it online.  I figured out why later - it was labelled as broccoli slaw but the picture says Kale slaw!  I kept looking at the photo.  I’m really hoping that I don’t end up with Kale slaw.

We are ALMOST done with the gowns.  I think these are the last ones that Julia S. has ready.

I poured myself a dark and stormy, extra dark, just before the Faust’s came for dinner, it was SO good.  I sent a photo to Trev, he said he could use one about now..actually he didn’t reply until the morning so not sure what he was doing!

Maria ended up having one too, since I sent her my photo - but she blamed it on my Mom thinking she had instigated it.

Jay drove over to the Faust’s and then he and Steve ran over here.  Jay’s still training for his IronMan even though we have a feeling it might be cancelled at this point.  Juls picked up Thai Village and pizza and we ate when they got here.  After we played 3 games of SuperTock, Juls and I won the first game bringing us to 12-8 but then lost the next two in a row so we ended the night at 12-10.  I think they left a little after 9pm and we went to bed.  I could NOT get to sleep at all.  It was almost 1am when I finally went to sleep last night.
