Physical Distancing - Day 5 (Day 19)

This morning Jay got up and met Steve for a run.  I woke the girls up, got a coffee on and we went for our coffee tailgate date in the Faust’s back-40.  Last night we decided, since it was just going to be a small group, to invite the boys too so Jay, Steve, Drew and Jim came for coffee as well.  Drew rode his bike there after stopping quickly for a few things at Vince’s.

We sat in the backs of our trucks for almost two hours chatting about anything and everything.  It was good to get out into the fresh air but also to see friends and socialize again.  We all kept probably 12 feet from each other and just enjoyed each others company.

When we got back Sophie and I took the ATV over to our neighbours and dropped off some baked goods to them and picked up two more puzzles.  Sarah really liked the chocolate chip cookies so I posted the recipe here so we can remember.  I sent them to Maria, Maggie and Julia too.

Today is a bit of a lazy day, its overcast, its Saturday, so I opened up one of the puzzles that Kerry lent us after getting trounced by the girls at Mario Kart on the Wii.

And 3 hours later we finished it.  I had it about 2/3 finished and sorted by colour - I finished everything you see above up until Jay joined me.

There’s now a website you can visit to see the number of cases of COVID-19 in Uxbridge.  Yesterday we had 3 and today we have 4.
